Annual Red Rock Roads Board Meeting Report - Hi Dan and Thanks Laura
It is official, the minutes for the Annual Red Rock Roads Board Meeting are in and have been posted. The meeting was held on Oct. 22, 2008 elected Dan O'Connor as a new trustee to the Board to fill the position vacated by Laura Coccimiglio. Dan joins the hard-working chairperson -Chris Carter, Karen Raybould and Secretary Treasurer -Brenda DiSisto.
The Red Rock Record acknowledges Laura Coccimiglio for the many hours of commitment to Red Rock Community as a trustee on the Board in past years.

Announcement Annual Red Rock Roads Board Meeting Report Apologies to the growing number of readers who have emailed us about the minutes of the last Annual  Red Rock Roads Board Meeting. The meeting was held on Oct. 22, 2008 and have not received any communication from the board with a bulletin release since then. We apologize to the our readers for the ongoing delay and will do our best present the tax paying landowners with valuable information such as the amount agreed on for road tax fee for this year, how the tax money is being spent, etc.  Nov 25, 2008

Sasquatch Spotted - Careful Where You Park  Was it Sasquatch with a new piece of heavy equipment or did someone not realize this was a driveway (photo left)? Only a day after the ditching was done, this  summer, it appeared that Sasquatch visited and left some big sized prints (photo right). As Sasquatch ages, he appears to be in need of a pair of eyeglasses and to reduce his weight by a ton or so. Even though the footprints were very deep, revealing the top of the culvert pipe, experts concluded that Sasquatch had not eaten his breakfast because the results of an extensive examination of the inside of the pipe showed no signs of structural damage. The Beauty and the Beast of Red Rock is all too real. Autumn is a beautiful time of the year, most would agree. However, sometimes the towering walls of colour presented by the trees along the Red Rock Road prove to be a facade.  Behind the walls awaits a display of vandalism. Hard to believe in such a quaint and neighbourly community. Sure it is not a daily occurrence, however it happens. Break-ins and vandalism have  been showing their ugly faces in the last few years, more than before.
